A Ph. D. in Aerospace Sciences from the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences prepares students for leadership roles in the fields of Space Studies and Aviation for employment in academia, government, and industry. The Aerospace Sciences Ph.D. graduate will gain significant knowledge and skill through additional coursework in Aviation and Space Studies beyond the master's degree as well as an advanced ability to evaluate and conduct rigorous research. Graduating Ph.D. students will benefit from the large existing network of Space Studies and Aviation alumni that can help facilitate job placement.
