The Odegard School is one of the most technologically equipped colleges on campus. With wireless capability in all facilities, plus a comprehensive suite of audio/visual equipment in the classrooms, information technology is a significant asset to the learning environment and has made a huge contribution to the success of our students.

Because of the importance of this technology, students are expected to provide their own laptops for use in the classroom. A recent survey of instructors indicated that laptops were used in 84% of the aviation classes to conduct learning activities. These might include on-line assessments, block exams, student portfolios, accessing the web for supporting information, and a host of other activities.

High end computing capability is generally not required and laptop specifications may be reviewed on a separate page of this website. Access to Aviation specific software is also available.
