Applying for UND Scholarships

for more details. Freshman scholarships will be determined for students who are admitted by
February 5. The priority application deadline for transfer student is
April 15. Scholarship information is also available through the Office of Enrollment Services (1-800-Call-UND).
UND awards several
tuition waivers to broaden the cultural diversity on campus. Cultural diversity, for this waiver, is defined as individuals who come from historically under-represented groups (African American, American Indian, Asian American, Hispanic American and the economically disadvantaged). Application information is available at:

The priority date for top consideration is April 15.
UND Aviation Scholarships
Each year approximately $300,000 in UND Aviation scholarships and training awards are granted to students enrolled at UND majoring in aviation.
Scholarship applications will be available (online – HTMLez) for
enrolled aviation
students in late January, are due by mid-February and awarded in April. Awards are based on academic merit, leadership, flight achievement and other attributes as specified by the sponsor.
Two significant scholarship programs are available for all
currently enrolled aviation students (including freshmen and transfer students) majoring in professional flight:
First is the Odegard Scholarships Program, provided by the James Ray Foundation. These scholarships are administered by the Aviation Department and awarded in the spring. The other is the Clay Lacy Professional Pilot Scholarship in conjunction with the EAA Aviation Foundation, are awarded based on academic merit, “a passion for flying,” and service. The application process for this scholarship happens during the December/January timeframe and is applied for through Student Services at 800.258.1525.
